This is Valentina, she’s quite beautiful. But what she has is a little aging around the eyes. When she was 15, it was way up here and it just starts slipping so when we fill the cheek up, this goes up, the nasal labial fold goes up. So this is almost like a mid facelift that we’re going to be doing. We’re going to give you the apple cheeks you had back when you were young.
Right now, look in the mirror. What’s happened is you have an angle there, angle there, so it’s “V” as it’s coming down. We get rid of the “v”, we round it out and push it back up. Also, your cheeks have kind of flattened and gone down. Your cheek bones, we want to put them back up. The bones themselves are the same but the fat on top of them have moved down. We’re going to move it right back up.
OK, so first we start out with a cheek bone
Valentina: Oh, it’s not bad.
Dr. S: So take a look now
Valentina: The difference right away?
Dr. S: This vs. that
Valentina: oh wow
Dr. S: Now we’re starting to form an infraorbital rim that will hide much of the old skin and early bags under your youthful eyes.

Dr. S: Thank you.
Valentina: So with this treatment, can I go to the gym? Or do I need to take a couple days off?
Dr. S: Nope. You don’t have to take a couple days off. You can go to the gym tomorrow.
There’s swelling and the swelling goes away. And it’s not overdone although it will look overdone.
Look in the mirror.
Valentina: Oh my gosh, what a difference. I look like old me. In the cheeks.
Dr. S: You mean YOUNG you.
Valentina: Young me (laughter). How about a big hug for the doctor? Thank you. For everything.
