My biggest worry about coming in to see any doctor, and I had talked to a couple of doctors before, and their biggest thing is, you know, they look at my body and they said, “Well you probably need to drop a little weight before you came in.” Well, I’ve already dropped 60 pounds for goodness sakes now I gotta wait, I mean, slow and steady wins the race. My life I felt like my youth was being sucked away by my extra person that I had. So, he was the first doctor that said, “I can help you now. I can do this for you and you’re gonna feel great.” And he had worked with big women before and he, he’s like a sculptor he could see, he made me feel beautiful before he ever did the surgery. He’s like, “I can work with you.” Didn’t he? Didn’t he just make you feel so beautiful? It’s just like, I had to see him after that. You know? And even coming in for those off visits you just enjoyed coming in to see S. Larry Schlesinger, MD, FACS. Cause’ he was like a friend. He made you feel good about yourself.
