I was extremely nervous. My friend had gone through this before and she was very encouraging and reminded me that this is what you want. You have to start somewhere, and don’t be embarrassed. Never once did I feel like I was being judged or pressured into anything and for me that’s a really big deal. I honestly feel like I was so embarrassed of my own body that I was afraid for the consultation because I didn’t even want to take my shirt off for the consultation. I feel like the consultation went really well. Dr. S spent so much time with me going over everything that I was worried about, every question I could possibly think of, how this was done all the million different ways. I felt like complete honesty and that was exactly what I wanted and exactly what I needed and he was absolutely able to confidently explain, answer and basically just make me feel really good about being there. I knew that he was who I was going with and I am so, so happy with my decision.
