Warranty Information for Breast Implants
When it's time for the surgical procedure, the implants will be included in the price quote you will receive. We will help guide you through the entire process, every step of the way, from measurement to helping you choose the implants that are right for your particular shape and body frame. Your implants will come guaranteed for life for the implant's replacement cost in the unlikely event that one of the implants experiences a rupture. Both companies offer additional warranty coverage. Here are some capsule summaries of the warranty packages that are available:
Allergan Breast Implant Warranties
Allergan Confidence Plus: The Confidence Plus warranty package covers you for life should an implant rupture, as well as providing $1,200 worth of financial coverage that can be applied towards anesthesia or surgical fees. Coverage for financial assistance is available for a 10-year time span.
Allergan Confidence Plus Platinum: This upgrade in coverage is only available for a limited time, within a 30-day time frame after surgery. Confidence Plus Platinum will provide for replacement of the ruptured implant (for life) along with $2400 that can be applied toward surgeon's fees or anesthesia. Again, this financial coverage is good for a 10-year period.
Mentor Breast Implant Warranties
Mentor Standard Advantage: Mentor's warranty coverage differs in that it offers a replacement (for life) of the ruptured implant as well as the implant on the other side. $1200 financial assistance is available (towards anesthesia or the cost of surgery) and is valid for a 10-year span.
Mentor Enhanced Advantage: At a charge of $100 (within six weeks of the surgery), the Enhanced Advantage warranty plan provides a lifetime coverage for the ruptured implant as well as the implant on the other side. The financial assistance is upgraded to $2400 worth of coverage towards anesthesia and/or surgical cost. Again, the financial coverage is good for a 10-year period.
